Dubai Chamber of Commerce launches Holiday Homes Business Group to back sector growth
New platform aims to unite operators and strengthen sector representation
DUBAI – Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has announced the launch of the Holiday Homes Business Group, a new initiative aimed at supporting the growth and development of Dubai’s holiday homes sector.
The group brings together companies specialising in holiday home management to strengthen collaboration and ensure the sector’s interests are effectively represented. It also seeks to create a unified platform for dialogue with government entities and key stakeholders.

The Holiday Homes Business Group will serve as a bridge between the public and private sectors, offering a structured forum to discuss market trends, regulatory challenges, and emerging opportunities. Through regular engagement, the group will explore ways to enhance policies, exchange best practices, and address operational concerns facing companies in the sector. The initiative is designed to support the long-term, sustainable growth of holiday homes as an increasingly important segment of Dubai’s tourism ecosystem.
The formation of the group comes amid continued expansion in Dubai’s holiday homes market. The number of companies operating in the sector and registered as members of Dubai Chamber of Commerce has reached 2,928. This growth reflects the strong performance of Dubai’s tourism industry, with rising international visitor numbers driving sustained demand for short-term rental accommodation across the emirate.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, said the new group marks a significant step towards boosting the sustainability and competitiveness of the sector. She noted that it provides an effective platform to represent the interests of holiday home operators while strengthening cooperation among stakeholders, helping to shape an enabling legislative and regulatory environment.

The group will submit recommendations aimed at strengthening regulatory frameworks to support the sector’s long-term development. It will also work to raise professional standards, increase awareness of legal requirements, and promote compliance across the industry.
